About

A small house, four lives.

La Fondita began with a building — and the quiet conviction that good food, good work and a good night's sleep belong under one roof.

Light through an Andalusian arch

The house had stood for over a hundred years before we found it — thick walls, a tiled floor worn smooth, a courtyard with a single orange tree. The restoration took two years and an old kind of patience: lime plaster, reclaimed beams, tiles set by hand.

What it became is what it always was: a place for people to gather, to work, to eat together, to rest.

Our values

Hospitality without judgement.

Food made with care. Spaces that welcome everyone — solo travellers, families, remote workers, neighbours.

The kitchen is halal. The rooms are quiet. The door is open. We hope you'll find it a calm place to spend a few days.

I came to Órgiva looking for somewhere to think, and ended up staying. The valley has a way of slowing time.

The Hub is my attempt to share that — a place to eat well, work without rush, and find a few days of quiet at the foot of the Sierra.

Welcome.
